AWC Maintains Top Position at "Thailand's Top Corporate Brands 2023" with a Corporate Brand Value of THB 58,571 Million, Driven by the Commitment to Build a Strong and Sustainable Brand

Bangkok, 25 January 2024 - Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), Thailand’s leading integrated lifestyle real estate group, maintains its top position at the "Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2023" award in recognition of having the highest corporate brand value in the real estate development business category in Thailand. AWC's real estate business stands out as the sole entity in the sector with a distinctive corporate brand value of THB 58,571 million. The “14th ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2023” event was jointly organized by the Master in Branding and Marketing Program (MBM) under the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn Business School, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand at the Chulalongkorn University Auditorium. The prestigious award and its unique valuation model serve as a valuable roadmap for Thai and ASEAN companies to create sustainable and impactful value.

The "ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2023" Award has been organized for 14 years to recognize organizations with the highest corporate brand value in Thailand and ASEAN. The event is a collaboration between the Master in Branding and Marketing Program (MBM) under the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn Business School, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Together, they conduct research and develop the "CBS Valuation", a corporate brand value measurement tool. The CBS Valuation utilizes criteria for measuring brand value derived from financial statements of companies listed on the stock market. It calculates the average value over a continuous 3-year period, integrating marketing, financial, and accounting concepts. This approach enables accurate financial quantification of the organization's brand value. The tool aims to gauge the success of brand development for organizations in Thailand and ASEAN by providing precise financial figures, thereby serving as a metric for evaluating brand success.

In addition to the "ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2023" Award, AWC has also achieved other recognitions. These reinforce the strength and dedication of the organizational brand in delivering value and sustainable contributions to all stakeholders. Some notable recognitions include: selected as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) in the Emerging Markets Indices for the first time. AWC achieved the highest sustainability score as per the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) by the S&P Global, ranking first in the world in the Hotels, Resorts & Cruise Lines industry. AWC has been rated ‘A’ in the SET ESG Ratings 2023 within the Property & Construction category from the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
