Bangkok, 25 October 2022 - The Asset World Foundation for Charity (AWFC), under Asset World Corp Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and partners, welcome the return of the “Empire Tower We Run 2022” charity run in the heart of Sathorn location, organized under the “One Run One Green” concept to promote building Bangkok as a greener city. One plant will be donated to the BMA for each Running Pack sold, which aims to maximize resource efficiency and create zero waste along the running route. The charity run will be held on Sunday 27th November 2022 between 4.00 AM and 7.00 AM, starting at Empire Tower.

“Empire Tower We Run 2022” encourages Bangkokians’ to be more aware of environmental care and climate change, while participants in the run will be encouraged to maximize resource efficiency and avoid generating waste with only one leaf-shaped cup used. The charity run will be open for 3,000 runners across three categories: “Fun Run” of 4.2 kilometers for 500 Baht; “Mini Marathon” of 10.5 kilometers for 600 Baht and “Half Marathon” of 21 kilometers for 700 Baht per ticket. The City Run type of route will expose the runners to a cool winter breeze at the end of November with the main highlights along the route which include Empire Tower, which is Bangkok’s biggest office building in terms of utility space; Klong Chong Nonsi Park, Sathon Road; the Taksin Bridge that stretches across the Chao Phraya River; and the King Taksin Monument (Wongwian Yai) as the u-turn point.

Moreover, all runners will receive a Runner Pack, complete with collectible memorabilia including a running bib, a T-shirt, a medal that will be handed out at the finish line, a waist bag, a leaf-shaped cup, accident insurance, and food.

“Empire Tower We Run 2022” is a part of AWFC’s “Give Green CBD Synergy Power”, which has been held for nine consecutive years to promote broader social contribution participation. For each runner, proceeds will support the BMA in purchasing 1 plant, with a total of 3,000 plants to enhance the green space in Bangkok, as well as to financially support the “Pun Fun” project for underprivileged children.
