  • AWC is developing a new hotel in one of the most prime locations along the Chao Phraya River, adding another distinctive experience to the “AWC Riverside Journey.” The 18-storey hotel, planned to be Plaza Athénée, a world-renowned ultra-luxury hotel brand, will feature 146 rooms across more than 20,000 sq.m. of gross floor area, representing an investment of approximately THB 2.9 billion, and is scheduled to open in 2028.

The latest addition to this journey is a riverside property currently known as River Garden, located in one of the most prime locations along the Chao Phraya River. AWC plans to transform the property into a new ultra-luxury hotel, with plans for the hotel to operate under the world-renowned Plaza Athénée brand. With a total investment of approximately THB 2.9 billion, the 18-storey hotel will comprise 146 rooms and over 20,000 sq.m. of gross floor area and is scheduled to open in 2028, bringing together luxury hospitality, wellness, dining and lifestyle experiences.
