Bangkok, 19 December 2025: Asset World Foundation for Charity (AWFC), founded by Asset World Corporation Public Company Limited (AWC), and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) have joined forces with leading partners including Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, CES Co., Ltd., KPMG Thailand, Jardine Schindler (Thai) Ltd., Krungthai Asset Management PCL, Bualuang Securities PCL, Siam Commercial Bank PCL, Future Visual System Co., Ltd., VGI PCL, Thai Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., and more than 50 leading organizations to launch the “GIVE GREEN CBD” initiative. Timed to celebrate the Christmas and New Year season, the initiative transforms Bangkok’s Central Business District into a vibrant platform for community connection, wellbeing, and sustainable living under the theme “CBD Charity Christmas and Season of Giving.” highlighting three major activities: “The Magical Green Christmas”, “AWC’s Charity Market Around” and the charity half-marathon “CBD WE RUN 2026.”

At the heart of the initiative is a commitment to “Building Better Future” for Bangkok residents. On this occasion, AWFC pledged funds to support the installation of clean drinking water stations at Chalermprakiet 80th Anniversary Park (Sathorn). The project aims to promote public health, encourage active lifestyles, and reduce single-use plastic waste, delivering long-term environmental and social benefits for the community.

Christmas as a Shared Community Experience in the CBD

“GIVE GREEN CBD” reimagines the role of office buildings and business districts beyond workplaces, positioning them as inclusive community spaces where people can come together to celebrate, give back, and care for their wellbeing. Flagship activities include “The Magical Green Christmas,” a festive installation featuring eco-friendly Christmas trees that reflect sustainability and creativity, and AWC’s Charity Market Around, uniting over 150 partners to offer sustainable products and support local communities, hosted at The Empire building, in the heart of Bangkok’s CBD.

The initiative also includes “CBD WE RUN 2026,” the annual charity run scheduled for 18 January 2026, which promotes physical wellbeing while raising environmental awareness. All net proceeds from these activities will be donated to AWFC to support long-term social and environmental projects.

The official launch was held at The Empire and presided over by Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, alongside Ms. Wallapa Traisorat, Chief Executive Officer and President of Asset World Corporation Public Company Limited. The event brought together a network of more than 50 partner organizations, demonstrating the strength of cross-sector collaboration in shaping a more sustainable and inclusive city.

About GIVE GREEN CBD

“GIVE GREEN CBD” is an annual initiative by Asset World Foundation for Charity (AWFC) dedicated to advancing sustainable community development through public–private collaboration. It comprises three key activities:

1. CBD Charity Christmas

   Featuring eco-friendly Christmas trees under the concept “The Magical Green Christmas,” on display now through 26 December 2025 at The Empire.

2. AWC’s Charity Market Around

   A purpose-driven market curating 150+ partners, community groups, and charitable organizations, highlighted through initiatives such as The GALLERY, reConcept, and others to showcase selection of household essentials & decorations to wellness items, local crafts, and eco-friendly products, held across the G and M floors of The Empire, with proceeds supporting AWFC’s “Pun Suk” project, dedicated to promoting education and wellness..

3. CBD WE RUN 2026

   The 12th consecutive charity half-marathon, taking place on 18 January 2026 under the theme “Run Creatively, Care for Bangkok.” Highlights include a special Costume Run category, with prizes such as tickets to the world-renowned Tomorrowland music festival.
